Health Screening Tool:
As the first day of school approaches, we will be testing the online system for reporting daily health screening information. Parents/guardians will receive test emails as follow:
- Elementary Grades K-5: Wednesday September 9 and Thursday September 10
- Middle/High School:
- Grades 6-12 Spartan Group: Wednesday September 9
- Grades 6-12 STRONG Group: Thursday September 10
This will allow families to see what the daily health screening procedure entails. Please complete the test screening to practice the process. Starting Friday, September 11, you will need to submit this daily health screening for your child(ren) every morning by 7:30 am.
How It Works
You will receive an email each morning with a link to complete the brief health screening questionnaire for your child before sending them to school. If you have more than one child, there will be a separate link for each child and you will need to complete each. The daily health screening asks Yes/No questions about recent travel, COVID exposure, and temperature (i.e., does the student member have a temperature of 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit or greater).
We will be using the secure platform EdVista (you may need to check your spam folder for a message with the subject "COVID-19 Daily Health Screening Form" and allow EdVista as an approved contact). If you do not receive the test emails mentioned above, contact your school office to confirm your email address. This email will only be sent to the person listed as the primary contact.
If you are unable to complete the daily health screening form (e.g. internet issues), please notify the main office of your child’s school building as soon as possible so they can check your student’s temperature upon arrival:

This mandatory daily health screening is a new state requirement to help ensure the health and safety of our school community. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Final Laptop pickup for any HS student who hasn't picked theirs up yet:

Also fully remote learners may have textbooks or other supplies to pick up, students will be notified by their teachers by email and items can be picked up Thursday, September 10th, 2 - 4.
High school hosted laptop pick up today as well as 9th grade orientation for the class of 2024.
Greenville Central School District welcomes new faculty members during new teacher orientation on Friday, August 28th.

We are distributing Chromebooks next week to students in grades 6-12. This will be a curbside pickup similar to when Chromebooks were dropped off in June. We ask you to fill out the Technology Loan Agreement Form before coming to campus.

Dear Class of 2021.
Prestige Portraits is excited to be photographing the upcoming formal senior portraits for Greenville High School - Class of 2021. Portraits will be taken at Greenville High School in the cafeteria by appointment only. Please schedule your appointment by visiting prestigeportraits
What you need to know when you arrive
We will be practicing safe social distancing and only allowing the student and one other person in the room during the session. There will be limited space in the waiting area so we kindly ask you to arrive on time and wait in your vehicle if you arrive early. All photographers and employees will be wearing a mask and we ask that all guests entering the building wear one as well. The student will be able to remove the mask while being photographed. When your session is over you will exit the building through the music room door.
What Picture Day will look like
Studio Portrait Dates:August 17th - 19th *by appointment only
Location: Greenville High School in the cafeteria
Session Cost:
Deluxe Session - $35.00, 16-20 proofs in yearbook attire, cap and gown, 1 of your own outfits and outdoor photography if weather permits.
Standard Session - $25.00, 8-10 proofs in yearbook attire and 1 of your own outfits
Basic - $15.00, 4-6 proofs in yearbook attire
Yearbook only - no charge
Clothing requirements: At the request of the school the studio/school will provide a tux or drape for those that are interested, as well as a cap and gown for those that select the deluxe session. All garments will be steamed between each use. Don't forget to bring your favorite outfit, jewelry, or props you wish to be photographed with. Your safety as well as the safety of the photographer are important to us. The photographer will not come in contact with you or your personal items during your session.
If you have trouble booking your appointment online, you can reach us at 1-800-333-2560 select option 3. Please keep in mind due to social distancing guidelines we are scheduling fewer appointments. This allows us to have fewer people in the room at once and keeps everyone safe. If you are unable to book an appointment during this week, we will be emailing again when more dates become available.
