Thank you for your patience and continued interest as we work through the process of finding our next superintendent.
We have engaged the services of Frame Superintendent Search, LLC to assist us in this transition. We are committed to conducting a full search for our next superintendent and the position has been posted to several key websites including NYSCOSS. We anticipate significant interest from many qualified candidates.
As part of the search process, we will be gathering input from all of our stakeholder groups through an anonymous questionnaire. Please be on the lookout for this survey after spring break. Later in our process, we will be looking for individuals to join us in committee work. If you are interested in serving on an interview committee there will be a place on the survey to indicate your interest.
Because we will be working through a full search over the next few months, the board undertook a separate process to find an interim superintendent who can close out the current school year. After interviewing multiple interim candidates, we believe that appointing our Assistant Superintendent for Business, Mr. Todd Hilgendorff, provides the necessary continuity to close out the current school year, and is a fiscally responsible decision. We appreciate Mr. Hilgendorff’s willingness to serve as our Interim Superintendent while continuing with his current responsibilities.
Selection of the district’s superintendent is one of the most important tasks for any district. We appreciate your patience as we work through the full search process. We will continue to provide updates as we go forward.
