Summer Sports Camps

The Greenville Athletic Association (GAA) is hosting its annual Summer Sports Camps again for 2026! REGISTER HERE.

Information and Pricing

  • Registration for summer camps closes June 10, 2026

  • Camps are non-refundable unless canceled due to not meeting the minimum number of student athletes.

  • Two-hour camps are $100 per week

  • Three-hour camps are $125 per week.

Tennis Camp
Ages: Boys & Girls entering Grades 5 - 12
Dates: June 29-July 2
Time: 8:00 - 11:00 AM
Location: Greenville Middle School Gym
Instructor: Matthew Lacy & Robert Gray (Tennis Coaching Staff)

Camp Information:
Grades 5-12 will focus on the fundamentals of tennis. Improving fundamental skills such as hitting the ball, serving, how to play a point, scoring a game, game play, and most importantly ~ having fun along the way.

Supplies Needed:
Each camper should bring his/her own sneakers, racquet & water bottle.

Minimum # needed to run camp: 8
Maximum # per session: 20

Softball Camp
Ages: Girls entering Grades 7 - 12
Dates: June 29-July 2
Time: 8:00 - 10:00 AM

Ages: Girls entering Grades 3-6
Dates: June 29-July 2
Time: 10:30 - 12:30 PM

Location: Greenville High School Softball Field
Instructor: Jeff Pelton & Ava Landversicht (Softball Coaches)

Camp Information:
Grades 3-6 will focus on basic softball fundamentals such as throwing, catching, fielding, base running and hitting. Pitching will be available as well if there is interest.

Grades 7-12 will focus on building off of fundamentals. Hitting, fielding, throwing, advanced base running, and pitching. Pod/small group work with mini-games will be played. Additionally, scrimmages are a possibility if numbers accommodate.

1 camper from each group will receive a Most Improved award

Supplies Needed:
Each camper should bring her own water bottle, softball glove, batting helmet, bat and cleats (optional).

Maximum # per session: 20

Baseball Camp
Ages: Boys entering Grades 2 - 5
Dates: June 29-July 2
Time: 8:00 - 11:00 am

Ages: Boys entering Grades 6 - 9
Dates: June 29-July 2
Time: 12:00 - 3:00 pm

Location: Greenville High School Baseball Field
Instructor: John Surrano (Baseball Coaching Staff)

Camp Information:

Grades 2 - 5 will focus on the fundamentals for younger players and playing games.

Grades 6 - 9 will work on improving fundamentals such as hitting to all fields, fielding (infield and outfield), pitching (learn off speed pitches such as change up and curve ball), play games, HR Derby.

Supplies Needed:
Each camper should bring his own water bottle. Each camper should bring his own bat, glove and helmet. Cleats are optional.

Wrestling Camp
Ages: Boys & Girls entering Grades K -6
Dates: July 13-16
Grades & Times: K-6 4:30-6:30 PM

Location: Greenville High School Gym
Instructor: Henry Mormile, Dakota Delisle (Wrestling Coaches)

Camp Information:
Grades K-6 will focus on wrestling fundamentals.

Supplies Needed:
Each camper should bring his/her own water bottle. Wear athletic gear and wrestling shoes (optional).

Boys Youth Basketball Camp
Ages: Boys entering Grades 2 - 5
Dates: July 13-16
Time: 8:00-11:00 AM

Ages: Boys entering Grades 6 - 9
Dates: July 13-16
Time: 12:00-3:00 PM

Instructor: Dane Carpenter (Boys Basketball Coach)

Camp Information:

Grades 2- 5 will focus on the fundamentals, fun dribbling and shooting games plus 3 v 3 and 5 v 5.

Grades 6- 9 will work on improving fundamentals such as shooting, defense, rebounding, footwork, game playing 2 v 2, 3 v 3, 5 v 5.

Supplies Needed: Each camper should bring his/her own water bottle.

Maximum # per session: 30

Girls Youth Basketball Camp
Ages: Girls entering Grades 2 -5 & 6-10
Dates: July 14-17
Time: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Location: Greenville High School Gym
Instructor: Robert Shields & Meghann Sniffen (Girls Basketball Coaches)

Camp Information:

Grades 2- 5 will focus on the fundamentals, fun dribbling and shooting games plus 3 v 3 and 5 v 5.

Grades 6- 10 will work on improving fundamentals such as shooting, defense, rebounding, footwork, game playing 2 v 2, 3 v 3, 5 v 5.

Supplies Needed: Each camper should bring his/her own water bottle.

Boys & Girls Volleyball Camp
Ages: Boys & Girls entering Grades 3 - 7
Dates: July 27- 30
Time: 8:00 - 11:00 AM

Ages: Boys & Girls entering Grades 8 - 12
Dates: July 27-30
Time: 12:00-3:00 PM

Location: Greenville High School Gym
Instructors: Lynn Hughes & Mackenzie Odell (Volleyball Coaches)

Camp Information:

Grades 3 - 7 will focus on the fundamentals of volleyball (serving, passing, setting and blocking). Game play positions and rotations will be developed through fun games.

Grades 8 -12 will work on teaching / improving fundamentals (serving, passing, setting, blocking, digging) as well as defensive / offensive strategies and rotations.

Supplies Needed:
Each player should bring his/her own water bottle. Knee pads are recommended.

Minimum # needed to run camp: 12
Maximum # per session: 30

Cheerleading Camp
Ages: Boys & Girls entering Grades 6 - 12
Dates: August 3-6
Time: 12:30-2:30 PM
Location: Greenville High School Gym

Instructor: Erica Hamilton & Megan Ciufo (Cheerleading Coaches)

Camp Information:

Athletes will learn and practice proper motion, jump, tumbling, and stunt technique. They will learn a stunt and pyramid sequence and a new floor cheer.

Supplies Needed:
Each camper will need his/her own water bottle, athletic clothing, hair up and sneakers.
