Dear Questar Hudson Students and Families,

We want to acknowledge and thank you for sharing your concerns with us. Your feedback is important, and we want you to know that we have listened carefully and have been working to find the best ways to meet student needs.

We understand that transporting your child(ren) from home to Greenville High School for the 7:15 am Questar Hudson bus may be difficult for some families, and we truly empathize with the challenges this has caused. Supporting both your children’s education and your family’s needs is a priority for us. Despite the many obstacles, we have a solution that can help support your children. We have developed two routes to help alleviate transportation hardships and make it easier for your children to get to the high school for the 7:15 am Questar Hudson bus.

To transport Questar Hudson, Tech Valley, HVCC, and New Visions students, we will offer early morning Hub Pickup Sites across the district. Parents and guardians can transport their students to one of the hubs, where they will board a school-provided bus to Greenville High School. We have designed the routes to ensure there is a hub within approximately 3 miles of each student’s home. Below are the hub pickup locations and times. These times are subject to adjustment based on ridership once the school year begins. Students will arrive at Greenville High School at 6:30 am, and will board a bus to Questar’s Hudson site at 7:15 am. Supervision will be provided at the High School from 6:30 am to 7:15 am.

Hub Route 1 Pickup Sites

• Rensselaerville Park - 5:55 am

• Rensselaerville Town Building - 6:08 am

• Medusa Fire Department - 6:14 am

• New Ridge Rd. Park - 6:20 am

• Greenville Town Park - 6:28 am

• Arrive at School - 6:30 am

Hub Route 2 Pickup Sites

• Grapeville School/Church - 5:55 am

• Earlton Fire Department - 6:05 am

• Freehold Fire Department - 6:24 am

• Arrive at School - 6:30 am

Please fill out the form that was emailed to you as soon as possible to let us know whether you plan to use a hub pickup site or make your own arrangements to get your child to the high school by 7:15 am.

We offer this solution in good faith and with empathy for our students and families. We recognize that this is not a perfect fix, but we hope it provides some relief and demonstrates our commitment to supporting your child's education and your family’s well-being.
