Universal Pre-K is a program that provides free pre-kindergarten classes for families who live in the Greenville school district.  The UPK program is available to children who are 4 years old by December 1, 2024.  All families are welcome to apply, regardless of income.  UPK classes are held five days a week for 5 hours a day and follow the Greenville Central School District calendar.  The UPK locations are the UMC – Daycare Center in Norton Hill and Scott M. Ellis Elementary School.  Transportation is not provided by the school district.

Applications will be mailed out mid-April.  UPK applications collected will be entered into a lottery to determine acceptance.

Families will be notified of their acceptance as soon as possible, and acceptance will be finalized after completing the registration process with the Greenville Central School District Registrar.  All enrollment offers are contingent on funding for New York State Pre-K grant.

For more information and to apply for UPK please contact Lynette Terrell, Greenville Central School Registrar via email at terrelll@greenvillecsd.org or (518) 966-5070 ext. 305.
