Thanks to donations from our community and the immense support of the staff basketball game fundraiser in the Spring, we were able to establish a school supply program that will benefit our students in need for years to come.
Last night, student volunteers gathered to pack backpacks filled with supplies for over 40 students in our schools. This wouldn’t be possible without the kindness and generosity of our school community. Thank you, Greenville!

The District Office has received calls from local business owners regarding an individual, who is not associated with our school or community, selling paid advertisements to be featured on folders distributed in school to our students.
Greenville Central School District DOES NOT work with outside companies to sell ads for folders, and we do not distribute folders with advertisements in our schools.
Our policy on advertising is very specific: the only time ads appear is in school-sponsored publications like the yearbook, playbills, or event programs. In those cases, someone from our District works directly with local businesses.
If you or your business are ever approached about purchasing an advertisement for one of our schools and you’re unsure if it’s legitimate, please call our District Office at 518-966-5070 x501. We’ll be happy to confirm and answer any questions.
Thank you for helping us keep our community informed!

Greenville 7th Grader Cameron Schelling made the front page of the Greenville Pioneer for being the keynote speaker at a ceremony honoring his late uncle.
Airman First Class John Irwin Cameron was killed in the Vietnam War on February 2, 1966. Greene County posthumously honored him with the "Honor a Deceased Veteran Award."
Back in November, Cameron Schelling was interviewed by WMHT for his participation in the CTE program. When asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, he told the reporter he wanted to join the military, to finish the career his Uncle didn't have the opportunity to.
We're proud of you, Cameron!

Last week, 2nd graders visited the Pine Bush Preserve and learned about Karner Blue Butterflies, which are found in certain parts of the Hudson Valley.
7th grade science students experienced nature up close at the Huyck Preserve and took a trip to the NYS museum.
Field trips are a great opportunity for students to have fun while gaining valuable knowledge outside the classroom!
