The Greenville High School Science Club brought another evening of hands-on learning and fun to younger students during Science Night on Wednesday.

Students in grades 2-5 had the opportunity to spend the evening exploring science through a variety of engaging activities led by members of the High School Science Club. From experimenting and discovering to asking questions and trying new things, the event gave elementary students a chance to experience science in a fun, interactive way.

Events like Science Night also give high school students an opportunity to share their passion for science while serving as mentors and role models for younger Spartans. Science Club members volunteered their time to plan and lead the activities, helping make the evening a memorable experience for everyone involved.

For senior Alannah MacDonald-Katz, the event also counted toward her Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) requirement for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. CAS encourages IB students to take part in experiences that challenge them to grow while making meaningful contributions to their communities.
