How can an artwork be made? We know that we need the elements of art (line, shape, space, color, value, texture, form), but how can that be changed up? Check out how Greenville students were inspired by artist Jason Markow and solved this creative challenge. http://gcshsart.weebly.com/advanced-studio-in-art.html

St. Patrick's Day Parade info from Mr. Lammly:
PARADE INFORMATION
Thank you to the large number of students who will be participating in this year's St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 21st! I have just received information from the parade organizers regarding the start time: The parade will begin at 1pm. Greenville HS Band students must arrive at the HS Band Room by 11:30am.
Attire for the parade: clean black dress slacks (no jeans/leggings), comfortable sneakers, and a school-provided sweatshirt. Sweatshirts will be handed out in the band room on the morning of the parade.
It is my hope to make this experience more inclusive to our younger instrumental students as well. I am happy to say that a couple of elementary and middle school students will be marching with us carrying our banner and flags!

Watch the Today Show tomorrow (Friday) morning between 7 and 11 to see if you can catch our GCS FFA students!

The High School Jazz Band is preparing for tonight’s concert. They sound amazing so don’t miss it!
